Classes starting again - Mon April 7th 7-8pm at Movements Afoot.  

Franklin Method - BodyMind Techniques for Flexibility 
Body-Mind techniques for flexibility, strength, and better posture based on Eric Franklin's Method. Learn exercises that improve the biomechanics of the body. Focus is on releasing tension, enhancing flexibility, improving posture, and increasing strength. Appropriate for all levels.

Classes will cover topics each week and focus on experiential anatomy for pelvic power, healthy spine, relaxed shoulders and neck, full breathing, and strong and stable posture. 

Movements are easy and suitable for all levels of ability.  Whether you exercise or not, perform or compete, have pain or injury, these classes are useful and suitable for you!
Every class includes:
-          warm up, concentration, imagery concepts, and movement
-          experiential anatomy - learning about the skeleton through movement and imagery
-          strength and stability exercises with balls, therabands, and/or constructive rest
-          This is an easy movement class, but please do dress accordingly!
